Pre-WW1 34 British Army Queens Own Cameron Highlanders Scottish military kilt

  

Genuine, antique Queens Own Cameron Highlanders, Cameron of Erracht tartan kilt. Really nice quality, heavy wool barrel pleated kilt. Kilt has areas of moth to front apron and rear pleats. Most of these are the size of a Hama bead and very hard to see.

If you chose to wear it, your sporran would hide the worst. Please see photos for locations and sizes. The inner blanket lining is delicate and thin from wear and supports the age of the kilt. The kilt itself, even with moth holes, defies its age. Still completely wearable, albeit with sporran.

Two unusually wide straps with three-pronged brass buckles, all in great condition. Four Bakelite buttons around waist with makers name: P & J Haggart, Aberfeldy. An amazing piece of history. Size Waist 34; Breech 38; Length 26. From a smoke free, pet free home.
