Vintage 1968 Swiss Army Military Canvas & Leather Rucksack Backpack Vintage Swiss Army Rucksack made by saddler R. Ross in Locarno, Switzerland 1968.
Leather is in good shape and quite pliable, but there may be some scuffs and marks present from previous use. The canvas is also in very good shape, but there are a few stains present. Bottom of pack has one repair from a puncture and one buckle has been repaired. The pack has a unique salt and pepper look from using a special flax & nettle canvas instead of normal cotton canvas. This makes it really thick and hardy. The leather is also still quite supple and looks amazing given the age. Measures 20" long, 16" wide, and about 6 deep.
