Original 1976 West German Bundeswehr Wearable Sleeping Bag with Sleeves - Gr. 2 - Schwarz Passau Genuine vintage West German Bundeswehr sleeping bag, dated October 1976 and manufactured by Schwarz, Passau. An unusual Cold War-era military sleeping system featuring integrated sleeves and hood, allowing the user considerably more mobility than a conventional sleeping bag. Dated 10/76 - October 1976 Condition Excellent vintage condition considering it is approximately 50 years old.

The outer shell and quilted liner are both very clean with no obvious major rips, tears or heavy staining that I can see. Zips and fastenings appear complete and functional. Please study all photographs carefully as these form part of the condition description. Wearable design One of the most distinctive features of this Bundeswehr design is its integrated sleeves. The lower section can also be opened, allowing considerably more freedom of movement than a conventional sleeping bag.
