MILITARY SURPLUS MBU BURNERS ALL POWER UP- BUT UNTESTED- FIELD KITCHEN ARMY. 536,356,298,468,31,162 HOURS ON THE 6 MBU BURNERS. I DO NOT SELL U.

S SURPLUS OUTSIDE THE U. You no longer need to collect and pay it to the state... Mbu burners take a bit to prime. Start with the power button, if they power up, you have the cables correctly, and tight enough. Then the start button, if it immediately goes to "service" hit the stop button..

Wait a second then hit the start again.. You may have to repeat this a few times to prime them. Watch the setting -knob-on the burner for startup (center front of the unit), they do better if they are higher(but not all the way high) not lower to start. They will sputter and smoke off and on through the warm-up phase, they will even somewhat -shut off -and smoke from the fuel mist not being ignited, they will either re-ignite or go to "service" if they go to service then just start over. All of this is normal.

They will eventually stabilize and burn constant, then you can turn them down.. I would change the fuel every year if they are stored not used with fuel in them.

Zero hour burners are good, but need to be used -broke in a bit more. The 25-45 hour burners are a good break in hour burner.. Have seen several hundreds of hour burners work fine, some of the higher hour burners have worked the best over the years.. There is a manual for these, but these would be the highlights.
