Please feel free to make an offer. An original Antique or Vintage Grenadier Guard Bearskin in poor condition requiring some renovation. I believe it might be the Royal Scots Fusiliers.

It's not a copy or reproduction. I'm not sure if it's Queen Victoria or the King so please do your own research. The leather inside has gold writing; "Hawkes & Co 14, Piccadilly London" I've googled the following; Gieves & Hawkes is a bespoke men's tailor & menswear retailer located at 1 Savile Row, London, founded in 1771. Gieves & Hawkes is one of the oldest continual bespoke tailoring companies in the world.

The company holds a number of Royal Warrants, & provides ready to wear as well as bespoke & military tailoring. There is a large bald patch of bear fur missing & other parts where there isn't much fur.

Bits of hair also come off. The original willow or cane inner frame is still present but also has some damage.

It requires a thread to tie the inner leather straps together. I don't know how to tidy the fur up but I tend to prefer items in their original condition even if the condition is poor.

The leather is also coming away on the curb chain chin strap. The white feather plume doesn't look very white. The brass badge is original & quite large on its red felt background compared to a regular badge.
