Military Snow Parka Swedish Army M62 Snow Camouflage Hoody 70s Surplus Vintage. Swedish Army Snow Pant Parka Poncho - Overcoat. Snow / ski / mountaineering use originally no pattern repeat but known as snow camo! Often reused as fashion wind smock / hooded parka.

Sizes: May be stamped or embroidered labels. All oversized - Designed to go over other jackets / jumpers / upperwear! Waist Drawcord with brass eyelets Allows Jacket to be gathered in - approx - 12 / 30cm above waist / hips. Cuff Detail x Double Button Wrists allows sleeves to be narrowed from 8 to 5 / 20 to 12 cm.

Hood Drawcord allows hood to be worn as a snorkel parka type of pulled tightly into a ruff collar style. Size M-L Label 46 = 58-60 Regular. Chest (pit to Pit) 30" = 76cm / Shoulder (seam to seam) 20" = 50 cm / Back Length 32" = 80 cm / Under Sleeve 18" =46 cm.

Size L-XL Label 50 = 62-64 Regular. Chest (pit to Pit) 32" = 82cm / Shoulder (seam to seam) 21" = 54 cm / Back Length 33" = 84 cm / Under Sleeve 19" =48 cm. Size XL-XXL Label 54 = 66-68 Long. Chest (pit to Pit) 34" = 86cm / Shoulder (seam to seam) 21" = 54 cm / Back Length 34" = 86 cm / Under Sleeve 19" =48 cm.

Sateen Cotton is lightweight yet tightly. Woven to maximise wind resistance. NB Original fabric is sateen cotton (with showerproof coating - will need to be re-proofed due to age of item). In the original supergrade condition colour appears off white (ecru / grey-beige'ish hue). As cotton items are exposed to sunlight / washing cotton will thicken and colour will lighten to almost pure white.

Button Detail - White Buttons contrast with the ECRU raw cotton colour (amazing things happen to the buttons when overdyed - watch this space for dyed listings). Pocket Detail - Triple Button storm flap pockets are spacious - 11 x 10/ 28 x 25 cm. Approximately a Medium, 36- 40 chest. These are designed to be worn as the extreme outer layer in sub-arctic conditions, over an already thick insulated jacket so expect a baggy fit. Note the body beneath the arms is particularly over-sized- see the second to last photo and note how much wider the body is compared to the shoulder seams.
