Vintage 1959 Swiss Army Military Canvas & Leather Rucksack Backpack

  
Vintage Swiss Army Rucksack made by saddler A. Chabloz in Château-d'Oex, Switzerland 1959. Leather is in good shape, but there may be some scuffs and marks present from use. The canvas is also in very good shape, but there are a few stains present.

The pack has a unique salt and pepper look from using a special flax & nettle canvas instead of normal cotton canvas. This makes it really thick and hardy. The leather is still quite supple and looks amazing given the age.
