Vintage Mermite Military Army Marine Food Container 1979 All Interior Cans & Lid

  

This Vintage Wyott Mermite Military Food Container from 1979 is a unique collectible piece that showcases the theme of military field service. Yes, this container was previously listed with only one interior can. Since the initial posting I found some cans and added them and have updated accordingly! With its rugged design and historical significance, this item would make a valuable addition to any militaria collection or display. The Mermite container is missing one handle on one end but all latches are intact and working.

The top is "square" and sits firmly on the rubber gasket. The bottom too is solid with no damage or holes.

The aluminum inserts are dated 1974 (Wyott), 1979 (AMF-Wyott), & 1980 (Nash). Please examine photos carefully as they illustrate better than I can describe.
